Rinse the rice until clear. Soak the rinsed rice in water for 30 minutes prior to cooking. Discard the water. Add 3/4 cup water for 1/2 cup rice. Bring to a boil, cover tightly, reduce heat to a simer, and cook for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Origin: USA
